The ERG story began in 1979 with a need for remote power within the timber and logging business. The technology early on was basic; burn wood waste to create the necessary heat to drive energy producing generators. Since then, over 400 waste incinerator & WTE plants have been built, utilizing waste from agricultural, commercial and medical waste. Along the way, our WTE plants have undergone a technological revolution. Now based in Seattle, Washington, USA, ERG has designed the next generation of WTE technology, with some of the most efficient, affordable and clean WTE plants in the industry.
With our next generation WTE plants, ERG continues the legacy started by Olivine Corporation in 1979, with nearly 4oo installations around the world handling up to 1,400 TPD.
The modern demands for reducing municipal, industrial and medical waste have gone in every corner of the world. Burying waste has created more problems than it has solved and the practice of burying waste is not a solution for the future. Our mission is to provide a viable alternative to burying waste that is both economical and clean, while providing communities with affordable electricity.
